over an 18 month duration A software tester has the crucial job of ensuring that software operates as intended. As a tester, you will design and prepare test plans, conduct testing to ensure that software is fit for purpose, and document and report the results of your tests. This level 4 apprenticeship will build your knowledge of testing types, procedures, techniques, tools and terms. You'll gain a good understanding of the software lifecycle and software development practices, and develop the skills you need to work as a Software Tester or Software Test Analyst.
