BTEC Technical Diploma in Digital Technology – Data Management

This qualification is an entry point for adult learners who want to start a career in Digital Technology. It is an ideal qualification for learners intending to progress directly to employment in Digital Technology, IT, Data Management, or to an IT, Digital or Data apprenticeship. Employer involvement is at the heart of our design for this curriculum, with input from businesses during our classroom-based activities and assignments. The course is part time which has enabled many of our Digital and Data learners in the past to work alongside their studies, often finding related work and getting their career change off to a flying start.
The course takes one full academic year with classes starting in either September or following the Easter break. The delivery model consists of one day in college with up to 3 hours of live online support lessons per week. You will take 4 core modules (assessed through a mixture of coursework and exams) and 2 further coursework assessed modules chosen by you depending on the pathway you would like to take – Digital Applications or Data Management.
Good level of English and Maths Functional skills Level 1 or above is required.
